2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch didn't shoot down the idea of pursuing free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (knee), who continues to rehab from a torn ACL suffered in the Super Bowl in February. Head coach Kyle Shanahan has long been an admirer of Beckham, who is hoping to sign with a team once he's healthy at some point in December. "Look, we never say no," Lynch said. "We're always looking to get better. And it's a rarity when you have a player of that ilk and some other names out there that still might be available. And we always will look." The Niners are on bye in Week 9 but resume their season next weekend against the Los Angeles Chargers. Beckham showed last year that he can help carry a team in the postseason, but it remains to be seen how effective he'll be in 2022 coming off a serious knee injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
