Fant was a popular deep sleeper during the preseason. Unfortunately, the veteran is only the TE26, averaging 4.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game in 2024. he has 26 or fewer receiving yards and 3.9 or fewer fantasy points in all but one game. That lone exception was in Week 3 when Fant had 60 receiving yards and nine fantasy points.
Fantasy players have no reason to start the veteran tight end in any format in Week 6. Fant faces a San Francisco 49ers defense that has held tight ends to only 6.7 fantasy points per game, the 10th-fewest in the league.
