NFL DFS: Cardinals vs. Packers DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Picks (Week 6)

Kyler Murray - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Today's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel - Cardinals vs. Packers showdown slate for Week 6 (October 13, 2024). Shaun's NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

Welcome back to another NFL DFS Showdown slate. We are targeting the Arizona Cardinals against the Green Bay Packers matchup. Kyler Murray is coming in with a hot hand after an upset win over the San Francisco 49ers. Jordan Love and the Packers are trying to secure back-to-back wins. The matchup has an implied total of 47.5 points, so we should see some fireworks.

Thanks to today's advanced analytics, I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups, but ultimately we have to try to correctly predict the game script of each game to nail the right plays,

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Cardinals vs. Packers NFL DFS showdown slate for Sunday, October 13, 2024. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Kyler Murray - QB, $15.6K (DK), $15K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 972 passing yards, seven touchdowns, two interceptions, and 247 rushing yards

It's hard to avoid Kyler Murray at the captain spot with his rushing upside and with this Cardinals offense. We have seen two games where Murray has looked like his former and healthy self. He has scored 25 or more fantasy points in two of the five games this season. On top of that, he has thrown at least one touchdown pass in every game.

Having the weapons of Marvin Harrison Jr., Trey McBride, James Conner, and Michael Wilson, the ceiling can be high for Murray. The passing volume will be there also. He has attempted over 30 passes in three of the five games while having five or more rush attempts in four games. Overall, it's hard to pass up on Murray.

Jayden Reed - WR, $15K (DK), $13K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 21 receptions, 414 receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns, eight rushing attempts, 110 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown

Jayden Reed could be an absolute nightmare for defenses and can terrorize them for all four quarters. He has one of the best matchups on the field Sunday. He will see Kei'Trel Clark a decent amount. Clark allows .45 fantasy points per route run.

Reed holds a 19.6% target share for the Packers but leads in 20+ yard catches with eight. Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson are second behind him with two each. He has proven that he is the WR1 even when Watson is on the field and healthy.

Other Captains/MVPs: Jordan Love, James Conner

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

James Conner - RB, $8.8K (DK), $13.5K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 83 rushing attempts, 379 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns, eight receptions, and 66 receiving yards

Many thought James Conner would slowly fade out with rookie Trey Benson behind him. That has yet to happen. Conner has continued to play a big role in setting up the play-action option for Murray and the Cardinals. He has only had one game where he was nonexistent in Week 3.

Conner has averaged 15 or more carries in four of his five games but being utilized in the passing game could be better. He should be able to continue his successful running against this Packers' defense. It allows 114.2 rushing yards per game, boosting Conner's upside for Sunday.

Tucker Kraft - TE, $6.8K (DK), $10.5K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 16 receptions, 218 receiving yards, and three touchdowns

Tucker Kraft has taken control of the TE1 spot for the Packers and did so quickly. Now, he becomes more valuable as Luke Musgrave has found his way on IR. Kraft is holding a 15.4% team target share but has dominated the past two weeks.

Kraft has now recorded 14.3 and 22.8 fantasy points in the previous two games. In those two games, he combined for 10 receptions on 14 targets for 141 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Jordan Love has found a comfort blanket with Kraft and we should see his success continue on Sunday.

Other Flex Options: Josh Jacobs, Marvin Harrison Jr., Trey McBride

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Greg Dortch - WR, $5.7K (DK), $8K (FD)

Greg Dortch is worth the flyer on the Showdown slate. Dortch has had four or more targets in three of the five games so far this season. In those games, he has had 35 or more receiving yards. In the two games where he had only two targets, he finished with 11 and seven receiving yards.

Kyler Murray has found some trust in Dortch so far that he has a 15.9% target share. He has also been targeted twice in the red zone. We would only need a couple of 10+ yard catches or for Dortch to find the end zone to crush his showdown value.

Arizona Cardinals - D/ST, $3.6K (DK), $8.5K (FD)

This is a risky play but depending on the game script that you have. The Cardinals defense could score some decent points. Jordan Love has played three games so far this season and has thrown five interceptions. He has also been sacked four times, with two coming in Week 5.

The Los Angeles Rams were able to cause issues for Love. The Cardinals could replicate similar pressures and wreak havoc on him. They could also give up multiple touchdowns to Love, so be cautious with your Cardinals' defense exposure.

Other Value Plays: Dontayvion Wicks

Enjoy your night and good luck, everyone!
