NASCAR Xfinity Series: DraftKings DFS Preview for Martinsville National Debt Relief 250 (11/2/24)

NASCAR XFINITY SERIES STOCK DFS PICKS

Justin Carter's DraftKings DFS lineup picks for the NASCAR Xfinity Series National Debt Relief 250 at Martinsville Speedway. Read his daily fantasy NASCAR advice and Xfinity sleepers.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to Martinsville on Saturday for the National Debt Relief 250. This is the final race of the Round of 8, with just eight drivers left in the race for the 2024 title.

Two—A.J. Allmendinger and Austin Hill—have wrapped up spots in the Championship 4. The other two spots are still up for grabs with Justin Allgaier, Cole Custer, Chandler Smith, Jesse Love, Sam Mayer, and Sammy Smith battling it out for the right to race for a title next weekend.

Here at RotoBaller, we want to help you make informed decisions about your DFS lineups, which is why I'll be breaking down the slates for the Xfinity Series. Let's look at some NASCAR Xfinity DFS lineup picks for the NASCAR Xfinity Series National Debt Relief 250 on DraftKings. Be sure to also check out our NASCAR Premium Tools for Xfinity Series, including our DFS Lineup Optimizer and powerful Research Station. This slate locks on 11/2/24 at 4:15 p.m. EDT.

Top Plays

Aric Almirola ($11.0K)
Starts Ninth

Back in April, Aric Almirola dominated here, leading 148 of 251 laps on his way to the victory. After taking the lead on Lap 28, Almirola would pace the field for 38 laps before losing it, but would jump back in front on Lap 127 and would only briefly relinquish it from there.

That was one of two wins Almirola has in 12 starts this season. He has seven top 10s and an average finish of 10.4. Any time he jumps into a Joe Gibbs Racing car, he's a threat to win.

Chandler Smith ($10.5K)
Starts Third

The future is a mystery for Chandler Smith. Despite being one of eight drivers left in the playoffs and posting a pair of wins this season in this No. 81 car, Smith isn't under contract anywhere for 2025.

That should provide some extra motivation for Smith on Saturday as he goes for the win at Martinsville. Because that's basically what he has to do to guarantee a spot in the Championship 4. Getting past Allgaier and Custer on points will be tough for anyone, as those two have a large cushion.

But Smith is up for it. He was third here earlier this season and already has a short-track win this season, taking the checkered flag at Richmond.

Justin Allgaier ($10.3K)
Starts Fifth

Justin Allgaier is still hunting for his first Xfinity Series title. Can it come this season? The current points leader won this race in 2023 and has led laps in five consecutive Martinsville starts. In eight races here, he has five top fives.

Mid-Tier Options

Sam Mayer ($9.8K)
Starts 12th

This isn't a race that's ripe with place differential plays. The fastest cars all qualified relatively well, which makes Sam Mayer, who starts 12th, actually one of the better options if you're hunting for those few extra points. Mayer led 11 laps here earlier this season and finished second, which was his third top-five here in the Xfinity Series.

A.J. Allmendinger ($9.2K)
Starts 11th

Martinsville has been a weird track for A.J. Allmendinger. In the Cup Series, he has seven top 10s here, more than he has at any track other than Daytona and Watkins Glen. But he hasn't done nearly as well here in Xfinity, with just two top 10s in six starts. Still, he's proven in a higher series he can compete here.

Bubba Pollard ($8.0K)
Starts 17th

There's a little risk here as Bubba Pollard has just one Xfinity start under his belt, but the veteran short-track racer finished sixth after starting 37th at Richmond earlier in the season.

Sure, that was in a JR Motorsports car and this Sam Hunt Racing car isn't quite as fast, but equipment doesn't matter much at a place like Martinsville.

And while Pollard only has one Xfinity start, he does have late-model experience at this track, including a fifth in a 2019 race that featured drivers like Josh Berry and Timothy Peters.

Value Options

Ryan Sieg ($7.8K)
Starts 38th

There's one clear place differential play in this race. If you want to be different and fade him, go ahead. But Ryan Sieg's 38th-place starting spot makes him an obvious play and sometimes you've got to play the obvious guy. Sieg has nine top 10s and an average finish of 14.4 this season.

Parker Kligerman ($7.6K)
Starts 18th

Parker Kligerman's full-time career is winding down and he'll look to close it on a strong note. He has 14 top 10s this season with an average finish of 11.9. Kligerman was 10th in this race last year and 12th here earlier in the season.

Jeremy Clements ($6.3K)
Starts 29th

Jeremy Clements has taken a step back this season. His average finish of 23.1 is his lowest since 2013. But he also has a pair of top 10s at Martinsville in his career, finishing ninth here in 2021 and 10th in 2022. There's place differential upside with Clements starting way back in 29th.

Carson Ware ($4.9K)
Starts 33rd

Looking for a dirt-cheap play? You could consider Carson Ware. Sure, he's in a fairly slow Emerling-Gase car, but he's finished in the top 30 in both of his starts this season. If things get chaotic, Ware could gain you 5-10 place differential points for under $5K, which isn't awful since it gives you a lot of flexibility.
