NASCAR PrizePicks Predictions - Bass Pro Shops Night Race DFS Prop Picks

Martin Truex Jr - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR Driver

Today's PrizePicks NASCAR DFS prop picks for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway by Chris Wassel. Use his NASCAR over/under props recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

September 16, 2023, on a Saturday night, features the Bass Pro Shops Night Race from the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. This is the 28th 2023 edition of NASCAR DFS on PrizePicks. Our friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.

PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, 5-player, or even 6-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win. As for the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest-to-win, NASCAR DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections.

PrizePicks and NASCAR focus on Fantasy Score, which has a scoring system where the first nets 45 points, the second is worth 42, the third is worth 41, and so on. Every lap led NOW equals an extra 0.25 points. Every fastest clocked lap equals an extra 0.45 points. Laps led are 0.25 points per lap and place differential is plus or minus one point. Also, stage wins are worth one point apiece. For NASCAR, we are going to try and focus on the main board's Fantasy Score and see which players may go over or under their projected point totals. Let's see what the board offers today!

William Byron MORE Than 44.5 Points

There are numbers that say this Hendrick driver is good on tracks like Bristol. Now, the consecutive third-place results are from qualifying positions in the teens. What happens when he qualifies third? That is a great question. Could Byron get to the front and lead some laps on Saturday night?

Now, the place differential from third is rough. However, the Hendrick cars did place three in the top five last year. Three in the top ten is more reasonable this time around. Let's take the MORE here on Saturday night.

Chris Buescher MORE Than 53.5 Points

Okay, Chris Buescher won the Bristol race last year behind one of the fastest final 125-lap segments anyone will ever see. The question is how the weather plays a role in this. Will the urgency to get this race in help or hurt the Ford cars? Track conditions figure to get progressively cooler and more moist. That might help.

Now, how fast can Buescher get to the front. Remember, last year, Buescher started 20th, got into the top ten, laid back, then led 169 laps anyway. Take the MORE here.

Martin Truex Jr. LESS Than 42.5 Points

The Martin Truex Jr. Express limps into Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night. Truex Jr. lies 13th in the points after starting the chase with 36 bonus points. Literally, he went from the top to out in two weeks. Yes, a lot of it was bad luck, but now there is no margin for error. He starts fifth for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race.

The driver has few results inside the top five or even ten at Bristol. Again, place differential is not as urgent. Truex Jr. just wants to survive and stay around the top ten. Take the LESS here.

Tyler Reddick LESS Than 37.5 Points

It is nuts to believe that Tyler Reddick will truly go for the win here at Bristol. Besides, he is already in the Round of 12 (won last week at Kansas). Also, he can help his teammate Bubba Wallace (23XI Racing) try to get into the next round. Expecting him not to finish high is reasonable. The risk is Reddick sometimes runs too fast and leads some laps while setting a few fast laps too.

Now, how far does Reddick slide back late on Saturday night? The answer is not certain. It is why we take a hesitant risk here and try for fewer points than expected. Take the LESS.

Christopher Bell MORE Than 71.5 Points

Christopher Bell has had this crazy season and now he won a third straight pole on Friday evening. The Joe Gibbs Racing Driver finished eighth at Kansas which broke the streak of no top ten's after a pole. Bristol is the type of track where the fast cars could lead early. If the rain holds off, Bell can definitely lead some laps and set some fastest laps. That will help rack up some points quickly.

It could be more dicey during the second half of the race. Bell can race well on short tracks, Bell was fourth at Bristol last year while leading 143 laps. Yes, we take the MORE.

Other Recommendations:

  • Kyle Busch LESS Than 49.5 Points
  • Brad Keselowski LESS Than 46.5 Points
  • Ty Gibbs MORE Than 32.5 Points
