Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups Include Nick Kurtz, Caleb Durbin, Austin Hays, Agustin Ramirez, Andrew Abbott, Tommy Kahnle

Andrew Abbott - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 4 (2025). Free-agent hitters and pitchers to add include Nick Kurtz, Caleb Durbin, Austin Hays, Agustin Ramirez, Andrew Abbott, Tommy Kahnle.

RotoBallers, we are a month into the MLB season, and it's that time again to scout the waiver wire for players who can boost your fantasy team or replace an injured player. At RotoBaller HQ, we help you prioritize who to pick up with our mid-week waiver rankings for Week 4-- April 21 through April 27 -- to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. This edition of waiver wire rankings features Nick Kurtz, Agustin Ramirez, Andrew Abbott, Caleb Durbin, Tommy Kahnle, Austin Hays, Noelvi Marte, Matthew Liberatore, David Festa, and Mitchell Parker.

There are key performances, prospect promotions, and injuries to watch for this week. Cincinnati Reds outfielder Austin Hays is heating up, hitting .361 (13-for-36) with three home runs and nine RBI over his last nine games. The Athletics promoted first baseman Nick Kurtz on Wednesday, who had an RBI single in his MLB debut, while the Marlins recently called up catcher/first baseman Agustin Ramirez. Ramirez is 5-for-6 with three doubles and a stolen base over two games. Injuries continue to pile up as Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager was placed on the injured list while Will Smith and Edwin Diaz are day-to-day.

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free-agent adds off waivers. Stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver-wire moves or multiple waiver-wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday. This article will guide you through our weekly ranking of the relevant waiver-wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size).
