Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups Include Spencer Steer, Matthew Liberatore, Jordan Lawlar, Coby Mayo, Zebby Matthews

Matthew Liberatore - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 6 (2025). Free-agent hitters and pitchers to add include Spencer Steer, Matthew Liberatore, Jordan Lawlar, Coby Mayo, Zebby Matthews.

The 2025 MLB season continues to fly by as we are already in the second week of May. Which players should we prioritize to pick up this week? At RotoBaller HQ, we break it all down with our mid-week waiver rankings for Week 6-- May 6 through May 11 to help fantasy managers in leagues that allow daily moves. This edition of waiver wire rankings features Spencer Steer, Matthew Liberatore, Jordan Lawlar, Tommy Kahnle, Will Vest, Coby Mayo, and Zebby Matthews.

There are key performances, prospect promotions, and injuries to watch for this week. St. Louis Cardinals left-hander Matthew Liberatore struck out a season-high eight batters while allowing one run and three walks over seven innings in his previous start. Liberatore owns a 3.07 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and 38 strikeouts over 41 innings. Injuries to monitor include Hunter Greene, J.T. Realmuto, Dylan Cease, and Andres Gimenez, who are all considered day-to-day. The Orioles recently promoted Coby Mayo to the show, who has yet to collect a hit in nine plate appearances this season.

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free-agent adds off waivers. Stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver-wire moves or multiple waiver-wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday. This article will guide you through our weekly ranking of the relevant waiver-wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size).
