Mason Tipton fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 7 (2024). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Mason Tipton for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR94
ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints wide receiver Mason Tipton has had a limited role on offense behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. The undrafted rookie free-agent wide receiver has six receptions on 11 targets for 40 receiving yards and seven half-point PPR fantasy points this season.
Last week, Tipton had one reception on two targets for 15 receiving yards and two fantasy points in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Unfortunately, the Saints lost Olave to a concussion early in the Week 6 matchup. More importantly, New Orleans will be without Olave (concussion), Shaheed (knee), and Taysom Hill (ribs) for the Thursday night game against the Denver Broncos.
So the Saints are most likely to be without the following players against the Broncos:
QB Derek Carr
WR Chris Olave
WR Rashid Shaheed
Flex Taysom Hill https://t.co/mxxYB97CRg— Field Yates (@FieldYates) October 16, 2024
While some fantasy players will want to start Tipton with Olave and Shaheed out of the lineup, the matchup is far from ideal. The Broncos have held wide receivers to only 17.6 fantasy points per game, the fewest in the NFL.
