Mack Hollins fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Mack Hollins for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: While Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins scored decently for fantasy in Week 1, putting up 10.5 PPR points, his day was only saved by a touchdown, and he's likely not fantasy relevant. He's competing with fellow WRs Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Curtis Samuel as well as tight end Dalton Kincaid for targets.
Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady also employs a less pass heavy scheme, relying more on Allen's elite rushing ability at QB. This means less to go around for the receivers. Allen averaged fewer passing yards per game with Brady at OC than former OC Ken Dorsey (fired in 2023).
Under Brady, Allen had a clear uptick in rushing attempts. His nine rushes for 39 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 1 game against the Cardinals showed that trend is likely to continue.
Josh Allen's rushing attempts this season:
Weeks 1-10 (Ken Dorsey): 4.8 per game

Weeks 11-14 (Joe Brady): 8.0 per game"This time of the year you gotta do what you gotta do."#BillsMafia @BuffaloPlus pic.twitter.com/Sl9CL54iyo

There's not much point in starting Hollins. There may not even be much to go around for Kincaid, Shakir, and Coleman, who are clearly ahead of him in the pecking order.
