BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 19% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: JuJu Smith-Schuster has been a major letdown in his first season as a New England Patriot. The 26-year-old has hauled in just 15 of his 26 targets for 89 yards and one touchdown through six games. Needless to say, his fantasy value is tanking.
However, Kendrick Bourne (knee) suffered a torn ACL last week, and DeVante Parker has been ruled out for the Week 9 contest against the Washington Commanders with a concussion. This leaves Smith-Schuster as the clear WR1 on Sunday. The Commanders have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to wide receiver this season, setting up Smith-Schuster for a decent outing.
The Patriots have one of the worst offenses in the NFL, so Smith-Schuster is not bust-proof. However, he appears to be a solid one-week fill-in for deep-league fantasy managers this week.
