ANALYSIS: Josh Downs has 12 targets through two weeks of his NFL career and looks like the sure-fire No. 2 wide receiver behind Michael Pittman Jr. in Indianapolis. If Anthony Richardson (concussion) can put his injury troubles behind him, the rookie duo could find a nice connection in 2023.
The North Carolina product is worth picking up in deeper formats, but there's no reason to use a high-priority waiver claim or spend a meaningful amount of FAAB (free agent auction budget) on him.
That said, rookie receivers often break out in the second half of the season, so it could be smart to stash him now for future fantasy output.
