ANALYSIS: Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon (ankle) is expected to return to action on Sunday barring any late-week setbacks.
Mixon suffered an ankle injury in their Week 2 victory over the Chicago Bears and has been sidelined since. In the season opener, Mixon carried the ball 30 times and totaled an impressive 159 yards and score. In Week 2 he tallied 25 yards on nine carries before the injury.

This weekend Mixon has a favorable matchup against the New England Patriots who have allowed the 21st-most points to opposing running backs this season.
Even if Mixon is eased back into action, fantasy managers should feel confident starting him in all formats given his role on one of the most potent offenses in the sport.
