Jayden Daniels fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Jayden Daniels for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: Is Jayden Daniels breaking fantasy football?
On 17-for-24 passing for 184 yards and no touchdowns, the rookie was the QB3 in fantasy football. The production all came on the ground. Daniels had 16 carries for 88 yards and two touchdowns. He looked like the new version of Lamar Jackson.
Jayden Daniels. Too fast.

Daniels didn't force the ball downfield much. His 125 air yards in Week 1 ranked 32nd among quarterbacks. When he wasn't scrambling, Daniels kept his attempts to short and intermediate routes. He barely missed on one of his two deep ball attempts to Terry McLaurin.
Washington HC Dan Quinn does want to limit Daniels' ground attempts. He believes that 16 carries is too many and they'd like the second-overall pick to be a passer first. That will come with experience. For now, the rushing upside is too great to bench.
The Commanders draw a less-than-impressive New York Giants defense in Week 2. For fantasy purposes, hopefully, the Giants can score enough points against a weak Washington secondary to keep Daniels aggressive.
