Jared Goff fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sitJared Goff for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: It wasn't the best fantasy game for Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff in Week 1. Goff only scored 12.4 fantasy points against the Los Angeles Rams and finished as the QB18 on the week. However, a better game should be in store for the 29-year-old signal-caller against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend.

In two games against the Buccaneers last year, Goff scored 22.4 fantasy points (Week 6) and 20.1 fantasy points (Divisional Round). Both games also saw the Lions quarterback throw for at least two touchdowns and 285 yards. On top of that, he has been a statistically better fantasy quarterback at home than on the road, as he has scored at least 20 fantasy points in seven of his last 12 regular season games.

As a result, Goff is a strong play in most one-quarterback leagues and all Superflex formats on Sunday. So, get him into your starting lineups this week because he has a great matchup at home against the Buccaneers.
