Ja'Marr Chase fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Ja'Marr Chase for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-end WR1
ANALYSIS: Ja'Marr Chase is coming off a disappointing first week that saw him finish as the PPR WR28. That’s certainly not the start gamers were hoping for, but it shouldn’t be too surprising considering all the time Chase missed this summer lobbying for a new contract.
A Week 2 match against the Kansas City Chiefs seems like a tough draw, but Kansas City only finished 21st in defensive pass DVOA in Week 1, per FTN Fantasy. However, Kansas City did finish Week 1 ninth in defensive DVOA against receivers.
Chase’s running mate, Tee Higgins, is trending toward missing another game. This would once again put Chase in a position to be the centerpiece of the Cincinnati offense.

Yes, Chase and the Bengals offense massively disappointed last week, but they still have an elite quarterback in Joe Burrow. This unit will eventually get things rolling. There's no reason to panic after one week. Chase is still an elite receiver, and it would be ill-advised to bench him. Fire him up and don’t look back.
