Jalen Tolbert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 6 (2024). Should you start or sit Jalen Tolbert for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Is there a new No. 2 receiver in Dallas? In Week 5 against the Steelers, Jalen Tolbert played a season-high 89% of the team's offensive snaps. He was targeted 10 times, catching seven of those passes for 87 yards. Tolbert found the end zone for the second time this year.

Sign Up Now!Jalen Tolbert will be a big cautionary tale against completely writing off receivers who don't contribute as rookies. The guy had 2 catches as a rookie in 2022 but is legitimately playing good football for the Cowboys now. Not sure what the ceiling is but he's a contributor.

With Brandin Cooks on the Injured Reserve now and set to miss at least four games, Tolbert has no real competition for the No. 2 role. KaVontae Turpin caught a season-high four passes in the game, but he played just 29% of snaps. This is Tolbert's role to lose.
With an enticing matchup against the Lions on tap this week, fantasy managers can deploy Tolbert as a high-upside WR4 play. We're not ready to say he's a safe fantasy option, but the upside certainly exists for Tolbert going forward.
