Jakobi Meyers fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Jakobi Meyers for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers made some impressive plays against the Chargers in Week 1, but his lack of volume makes him a risky fantasy play.
Meyers was targeted only three times against Los Angeles and while he caught all three passes for 61 yards, it's just tough to maintain consistent fantasy value when the ball's coming your way that little.

Now with a tough matchup against the Ravens on deck, Meyers is only a fantasy option in 14-team leagues this week. He's a talented player, but is behind Davante Adams and rookie tight end Brock Bowers in the pecking order.
With Vegas not having a ton of passing upside because of their weak QB position, fantasy managers should view Meyers as a matchup-dependent WR5 option, and Week 2 isn't the matchup where you'll want to play him.
