Isaiah Likely fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Isaiah Likely in your fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Borderline TE1
ANALYSIS: While Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is the clear no. 1 TE on the team, Isaiah Likely showed his excellent talent and the coaches showed their willingness to get him involved. The Ravens showed their commitment to running 2 tight end sets, and both Likely and Andrews should see the field and be productive.
The “12” personnel is here to stay with the Ravens rolling out two tight ends at a higher rate (52.7%) than any game last season.
This follows logic. The Ravens don't have receivers (other than Zay Flowers) that have produced much in recent memory, and even Flowers has been wildly inconsistent, with massive bust games in 2023. Likely showed flashes in 2023, and with a monster game of nine catches, 111 yards, and 1 TD, he's a must-start at the TE position.
TE is shockingly devoid of depth so far this year, so even if Likely has a down game, the upside is worth chasing. He almost had even more production in Week 1, nearly securing another touchdown but barely landing out of bounds. Start Likely if you own him, unless you also own a top-5 TE.
BALLER MOVE: Start as a FLEX in 12-team leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: High-end RB3 ANALYSIS: The Pittsburgh Steelers reinforced their backfield this offseason by adding Rico Dowdle on a two-year, $12.25 million contract. Dowdle is coming off back-to-back seasons with over 1,000 rushing yards and has a history with the new Steelers head coach, Mike McCarthy. […]
BALLER MOVE: Start in all leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: Mid-end RB2 ANALYSIS: The Green Bay Packers running back room has been at the center of attention among the fantasy football community over the past 24 hours. On Sunday, Packers top running back Josh Jacobs was placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List, which will prevent him from practicing […]
Baller Move: Start in 12-team leagues Positional Value: High-end RB3 Analysis: The Seattle Seahawks elected to let Super Bowl MVP running back Kenneth Walker III leave in free agency this offseason. It was a curious decision, given that his running mate, Zach Charbonnet, tore his ACL during the team’s playoff run and was expected to […]
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ team leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end FLEX ANALYSIS: Carolina Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks has had a difficult start to his professional career. Brooks began his debut season late in Week 12 while recovering from a torn ACL, but he only appeared in three games before re-tearing his ACL. This injury […]
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ team leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/FLEX ANALYSIS: Washington Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt had an inconsistent rookie season. He enjoyed a hot start and looked to be on breakout watch, totaling 14.2 PPR points in his NFL debut. However, following his 29.0 PPR point performance in Week 5, the second-round rookie […]
