Indianapolis NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes

Christopher Bell - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR Driver

NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages. Use these NASCAR stats and info to build lineups on DraftKings for the the 2024 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Friday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming Brickyard 400 on Sunday afternoon.

The 39-car field was split into two groups for this practice session. Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.

Like Pocono last weekend, Indianapolis is a massive track, coming in at 2.5 miles in length and flat. Don't be surprised if we see a lot of the same drivers that were fast at Pocono last week also have speed this weekend at Indy.

Important Practice Notes

Christoper Bell - Christopher Bell's No. 20 Toyota hit some debris during practice that caused a little damage to the car, but it shouldn't be much to worry about.

Erik Jones - Late in the practice session, Erik Jones spun out but didn't hit anything.

BJ McLeod - BJ McLeod was the only driver entered in the race that did not complete a lap during practice.
