Week 11 Wide Receiver Rankings Outlooks
DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf has been incredibly quiet over the past two weeks, but he'll look to get back on track against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. Cincinnati has been middle-of-the-pack against fantasy wideouts overall, though they've been notably tough on opposing WR1s lately.
Still, it is difficult to overlook the potential for a shootout, as this contest carries one of the highest projected point totals of the week. While Pittsburgh's tight ends are likely to get involved, Metcalf remains the clear top target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers and should see frequent usage on Sunday, especially if both offenses are trading scores. There is plenty of risk associated with starting Metcalf, but he offers a strong amount of upside as a low-end fantasy WR2 against the Bengals.
Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton will likely struggle against the Kansas City Chiefs at home this week, who rank seventh overall in passing yards allowed per game on average, with just 187.2. After losing running back J.K. Dobbins (foot) this week due to a tough hip drop tackle that wasn't called.
The Broncos may lean more on their passing attack, which could bode well for Sutton if quarterback Bo Nix performs efficiently. Through 10 games this season, Sutton has been averaging 4.1 receptions per game for 59 receiving yards and 0.4 touchdowns. Coming into Week 11 as RotoBaller's WR32, Sutton is more of a backend WR3 against the Chiefs.
Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (ankle) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Sunday's Week 11 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Odunze missed Wednesday's practice due to a minor ankle issue.
However, he was able to practice each of the next two days and has been cleared to play this weekend. Odunze bounced back last week with six receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown in the win over the New York Giants. He should offer high-end WR2 value for this upcoming matchup against the Vikings.
