Week 15 Quarterback Rankings Outlooks
Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is a potential streaming option in Week 15 against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have been middle-of-the-road against opposing quarterbacks in fantasy this season. Additionally, when Darnold is firing on all cylinders, he is virtually matchup-proof. Darnold should have no issues finding his top wide receivers in this game.
If he keeps the turnovers down, Darnold has a great chance to hover around 250 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Darnold had faltered over the last handful of weeks before getting back on track in the second half of Week 14 against the Falcons. Perhaps he can carry that momentum into this week. Darnold is not a must-start by any means, but if you have a tough quarterback situation, you could do a lot worse than Darnold in Week 1 of the fantasy playoffs.
Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders surprised fantasy managers with his best game of the season in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans, completing 23 of 42 passes for 364 yards with four total touchdowns. The newly minted Browns' starting quarterback for the rest of the season also had one design run, his first of the year, and two scrambles for 29 yards. Sanders is headed to a frigid Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears in Week 15, with an expected wind chill as low as -15 degrees at kickoff.
The Bears' pass defense has some of the lowest pressure and sack rates in the league, but the extreme weather is likely to reduce passing-game volume and limit Sanders' opportunities. Although the rookie quarterback flashed last week, his average completion percentage is a low 57.9%, placing him between Caleb Williams and Cam Ward. For Week 15, he is more of an option in Superflex or 2QB leagues for fantasy managers in the first week of their playoffs, as the rookie comes in as QB25 in the latest RotoBaller rankings.
Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart is hopeful for better results after a lackluster performance against the New England Patriots in Week 13. Dart made his return to the field before the bye after missing two games due to a concussion and completed 17 of 24 passes for 139 yards and one touchdown in the loss. The biggest takeaway is that Dart only rushed the ball four times for 20 yards.
Before missing two games, Dart had scored a touchdown on the ground in five straight games. The Giants previously stated they want Dart to be smarter with the way he runs the ball. His passing stats alone are unlikely going to be able to carry him as a QB1 in fantasy, even with a plus matchup against the Washington Commanders in Week 15. Dart has been held to under 200 passing yards in three of his last four games. The Commanders' defense has allowed 58 points over their previous two contests. That's good news for Dart, but he should still be viewed on the lower end of the QB1 spectrum for this weekend.
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is back in the QB1 conversation in Week 15. On Sunday, Purdy and the Niners face the Titans, who have allowed 22.4 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks in 2025. Last week, Tennessee got torched by rookie Shedeur Sanders to the tune of 364 yards and three touchdowns through the air, and another 29 yards with an additional score on the ground.
The Titans have given up multiple passing touchdowns in six of their last seven games and averaged 265 passing yards allowed during the same stretch. This is promising for Purdy, who has averaged just 187 passing yards per game since returning in Week 11 from a six-game absence managing turf toe. Purdy is a solid option in two-QB formats and is a good pivot from similar quarterbacks with more imposing matchups in Week 15.
