In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 8/30/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Max Fried - ATL vs CWS - $8,800
Fried got beat up in his last start, but this is a great opportunity to rebound against the White Sox. Fried has pitched better than his 4.03 ERA would suggest, as his 3.79 FIP and 3.34 Deserved Run Average are more accurate representations of his true talent level. The White Sox have been roughly league-average against lefties, with a .319 wOBA, and they will be weakened in an NL park with no designated hitter. Fried is priced as a mid-tier option but can easily produce high-end results at starting pitcher tonight.
Kyle Gibson - MIN at DET - $8,400
If you're ever looking for a pitcher to stream, it's never a bad idea to use whoever is facing the Tigers. Detroit is the weakest lineup in all of baseball, as evidenced by their awful .283 wOBA and 26.9% K-rate versus right-handed pitching - both marks rank them dead last. Gibson is a useful starter with a 4.05 FIP that should be deployed in this matchup.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
1B - C.J. Cron - MIN at DET (Jackson) - $3,000
It's not a bad idea to stack as many Twins bats as you can tonight against Edwin Jackson, owner of an unfortunate 8.70 ERA. Cron has been hot lately, with an .876 OPS over the last two weeks, and he's a cheap way to get a Twins bat. Cron is a power upside flier to consider in GPP tournaments, with 22 homers in just 104 games.
2B - Ozzie Albies - ATL vs CWS (Nova) - $3,200
It's surprising to see Albies at such an affordable price batting second for the Braves, as he's in an outstanding spot to rack up counting stats. Opposing starter Ivan Nova has posted an incredible 0.94 ERA over his last 48 innings, although that came with just 25 strikeouts, so it's unlikely his success continues much longer. Albies has double digits in both homers and steals, so there's plenty of ways for him to contribute.
3B - Jose Osuna - PIT @ COL (Senzatela) - $3,100
Osuna will be one of the cheapest bats playing in Coors Field, the league's ultimate offensive environment. He already homered there last night and has been surprisingly great against righties this year, putting up a 158 wRC+ in a small sample. Rockies starter Antonio Senzatela has given up six or more runs in each of his last four starts, and three of those weren't even in Coors!
SS - Jon Berti - MIA at WAS (Sanchez) - $3,200
Berti has gone largely unnoticed as a member of the Marlins, but he's definitely worthy of more hype. Berti is batting .291 with seven steals and four homers over the last month, and he's got a high floor batting leadoff for Miami. Consider him in cash games as a value shortstop.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Nicholas Castellanos - CHC vs MIL (Anderson) - $3,400
Speaking of good months, Castellanos has been unstoppable since joining the Cubs, batting .352 with a 1.071 OPS and nine homers. He's in an awesome spot batting second for the Cubs, where he can score runs against Chase Anderson, who has a poor 4.70 FIP and a 1.45 HR/9, so Castellanos can take him deep as well.
Ryan Braun - MIL at CHC (Quintana) - $2,900
Braun is a lefty-masher we can get for cheap, as he's got a 130 wRC+ against southpaws with just a 15.8% K-rate. Braun should see plenty of RBI opportunities batting cleanup.
