Elliot logged 30 total snaps, while Rico Dowdle fell just below him with 27 snaps. Fantasy managers should expect a similar timeshare to continue throughout the majority of the season.
However, given how potent the Cowboys' passing attack is, Elliott should have ample opportunities near the red zone every week, which does give him the weekly upside for a touchdown. The 29-year-old remains a safe floor option as he lacks the upside given the limitations on his workload heading into Week 2.
