Evan Engram fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Evan Engram for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: It was a rough first week for Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram in fantasy. Engram caught just one pass for five yards in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. It was certainly an unusual line for the 30-year-old veteran, as he caught at least four passes in all 17 games in 2023. His four targets last week are also the fewest amount he has seen in a game since Week 18 of the 2022 season.
Editor's Note: The FFPC Baby Gorilla Tournament is now open, featuring a $100,000 grand prize and a $675,450 total prize pool! This 12-team, Tight End Premium contest uses a 20-round draft format, with the overall winners determined by total points scored during Weeks 15–17. The Pro Bowl tight end has a tough matchup this week against a Cleveland Browns defense that gave up the second-fewest fantasy points to the position in 2023. Cleveland also allowed the fewest receiving yards (565) to tight ends last season.

However, given the tight end landscape in fantasy heading into Week 2, Engram should still be started in all formats. Last year against the Browns, he caught 11 passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns en route to a TE1 fantasy finish. So, the matchup might not matter too much this weekend.
