DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (9/10/21)

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for 9/10/21. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win big.

We have another big weekend of college football DFS for you this week. This weekend it only spans two days though with a four-game slate on Friday and then our loaded Saturday. I will have all of the Saturday slates covered once again, but first, we start with those eight teams that were gracious enough to give us some college football on Friday. Bless you all. I truly mean that!

We have 2020 darlings Coastal Carolina hosting a Kansas team that (barely and luckily) got their one win for the year. Duke, who handed Charlotte their first ever win against a power five school last week, should have a better game against North Carolina A&T. Should being the operative word. My wife's alma mater, North Dakota, travels to Logan to take on an interesting (in a good way) Utah State team. We close it out with another fun team, UTEP, heading up to the Smurf Turf. This is going to be a fun one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/10/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Grayson McCall, Coastal Carolina ($8,900)

McCall only missed on three of 19 passes in his one half of action against The Citadel in the opener. This game might be close, but I wouldn't count on it. McCall put up three touchdowns against the Jaychickens in Lawrence last year, so I still consider him the best cash game option. For GPP formats, our best bet might be a quarterback that is going to have to throw to try to keep the game close. We all know the major risks associated with chasing that though. McCall is the safe pick in all formats.

Jason Bean, Kansas ($6,800)

The North Texas transfer accounted for both touchdowns in the opener and picked up 54 rushing yards. Those are the free points we are after when chasing quarterbacks. If Kansas is going to be competitive at all in this game, they are going to need Bean to run as well as throw. Kansas has some prospects in the backfield, but until one emerges as the lead back, Bean should get his share of rushing yards as well. There's some hidden value here.

Jalen Fowler, North Carolina A&T ($5,700)

Fowler is more of a passer than the rest of the quarterbacks of dogs on this slate with the possible exception of Bean. Bean is facing a tough defense. Fowler is not. Duke allowed 324 passing yards to Chris Reynolds last week. I don't know if Fowler will go for 300, but it wont be for lack of trying. The pass attempts will be there and the Duke defense isn't any better than last year.

Also consider: Logan Bonner, Utah State ($7,300); Gunnar Holmberg, Duke ($7,000); Tommy Schuster, North Dakota ($5,800)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

Mataeo Durant, Duke ($6,900)

So....Durant goes for 51.2 DraftKings points against Charlotte and his price goes down $300 bucks? Yes, have some! Lock in Durant. We'll differentiate our lineups elsewhere.

Cyrus Habibi-Likio, Boise State ($5,700)

It's going to be a vanilla game for Boise, which likely means pedestrian numbers for Hank Bachmeier. However, Cyrus could be in for a decent workload. The Broncos have no reason to risk worsening whatever is ailing George Holani in this one. The Oregon transfer was bottled up by the UCF defense last week. That wont be the case against UTEP.

Shermari Jones, Coastal Carolina ($4,000)

Jones is the cheaper part of the timeshare with Reese White, but honestly, both are strong plays against Kansas. They both had big games from a fantasy standpoint against The Citadel and should here again. The CCU backs are among the best values on the slate.

Calvin Tyler Jr., Utah State ($3,500)

Tyler had a nice game in the opener against Washington State. Utah transfer Devontae Henry-Cole is expected to be part of this backfield at some point, but for now, Tyler is the lead back at a really low price. I can legitimately see using four running backs on this slate. There are a lot of great options on the cheap to pay up for receivers.

Also consider: Jordan Waters, Duke ($5,800); Otis Weah, North Dakota ($5,400); Reese White, Coastal Carolina ($4,700); Andrew Van Buren, Boise State ($4,600)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

Jaivon Heiligh, Coastal Carolina ($8,000)

Even in the blowout, Heiligh put up 28.3 DraftKings points before watching the rest of the tilt from the sidelines. The major advantage he has over Shakir is the fact that Heiligh is the unquestioned lead receiver for the Chanticleers. Shakir has a bunch of pass catchers around him to share with. Shakir was also on a snap count in the opener, so the Broncos will likely be careful with him in a game in which they wont need him to win. Heiligh is again the safe option, but there are a couple of others that might have more upside. Maybe. I'm rolling with the sure thing.

Deven Thompkins, Utah State ($7,000)

Thompkins is the best playmaker that the Aggies have, so they are going to get the ball in his hands. Thompkins caught eight passes and had a rushing attempt in the opener. He will likely be a big part of the offensive game plan again, especially if North Dakota finds a way to keep this close. If not, I still think Thompkins will have a large role in the game getting out of hand.

Lawrence Arnold, Kansas ($4,400)

Arnold caught both touchdowns from Jason Bean in the opener. The Chanticleers are likely going to clamp down on Kwame Lassiter as well, which in theory should leave Arnold more open. I'm hesitant to use any Kansas players because of how good CCU is on both sides of the ball, but the price is right to take a flier with Bean's favorite receiver.

Ron Hunt, North Carolina A&T ($3,900)

Hunt went nuts in the opener against Furman, albeit in a losing effort. Hunt hauled in five passes for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He is the deep threat for the Aggies and the guy that could really make the Duke defense pay. If you're rolling the dice with Jalen Fowler, make sure you pair him with Hunt for a cheap stack with a lot of upside.

Also consider: Khalil Shakir, Boise State ($7,500); Jacob Cowing, UTEP ($5,200); Jake Bobo,Duke ($5,100); Isaiah Likely, Coastal Carolina ($4,800)
