BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 28% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Titans have already clinched the AFC South division title, and that might mean they rest some bodies to keep them warm entering the postseason in a couple of weeks. That could mean that now-leading back D'Onta Foreman might lose some snaps or straight rests next week while Derrick Henry attempts a comeback that might not be there soon enough for him to feature in the Titans playoffs debut. Even if that's not the case and Foreman is named RB1, Hilliard did enough last weekend (and in the second half of the season as a whole) to earn enough touches to have some upside entering W18.
Hilliard hit the ground running in his first game of the season back on Week 11 and improved on it one week later with 15.2 and 18.3 PPR points respectively. Then, the duds. Three games in a row posting single-digit PPR points killed a little bit the buzz around Hilliard, but this past weekend he came back to his ceiling-level of play with 16.8 fantasy points on 8 carries and 3 receptions. He racked up 45 rushing yards and a touchdown to go with 33 yards receiving for a total of 78 yards from scrimmage and the score. The snaps, though, were minimal at 15 with a 24% snap share.
If D'Onta Foreman is out next week or limited in any way as a precautionary measure (again, Tennessee is already in as a division champ), then Hilliard should get the most of the chances Foreman would free. If Foreman plays, though, the timeshare will be heavier and could impact Hilliard's upside: you'd be banking on another touchdown-dependent play as without the score Hilliard would most probably fall into the 8-to-10 PPR-point clip. Super deep-league, needy-GM flier to take, this one.
