BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 58% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: We warned you last week: QB Deshaun Watson might only be rusty and that's what hurt the rest of the Browns' skill-position players. We can confirm it now: check Donovan Peoples-Jones and you'll know what we're talking about.
In Watson's first game back since forever, he fed DPJ three targets (the wideout ended up catching all of them for 44 yards), and that volume, no matter the outcome, was always going to lead nowhere. Had it not been for a 76-yard punt return that ended in a touchdown, Peoples-Jones would have scored many fewer than the 13.4 PPR points he finished Week 13 with.
That changed last Sunday, though, with Peoples-Jones getting a season-high 12 targets (!) and catching 8 for 114 yards. Simply put, it was a (nearly) season-best game for DPJ on his way to 19.4 PPR points and a borderline WR1-level outing with the Browns at Cincy.
Amari Cooper saw 9 targets a week ago and 7 this past Sunday, so he can still (and obviously, now and ROS) be considered Cleveland's no. 1 wideout. That said, DPJ has outperformed Cooper in back-to-back weeks with Watson at the helm.
Peoples-Jones is the man looking better entering the fantasy playoffs. Still available in more than four of every 10 Yahoo leagues, you better go check your WW just in case and smash that Add button if you can still find DPJ sitting in there.
