DK Metcalf fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit DK Metcalf for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf had a disappointing season debut, as he caught just three passes for 29 yards. However, despite the underwhelming debut, fantasy managers should never consider benching Metcalf.
The game script did not favor the passing game on Sunday as running back Kenneth Walker III ran for over 100-days while the Bronco offense could not generate any consistency.
Last season, Metcalf caught 66 passes for 1,114 yards and eight scores. This was his third season, eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark, and his sixth-straight season in which he had tallied over 900 yards.

In Week 1, Metcalf saw the most snaps among Seattle wideouts, which is a great sign from a volume standpoint and suggests that better days are ahead.
Given his big-play ability and place on the depth chart, Metcalf should be viewed as a solid WR2 in all formats this weekend as he will face the New England Patriots.
