Diontae Johnson start or sit Week 11 advice. Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2024). Should I start or sit Diontae Johnson for fantasy football?
BALLER MOVE: Sit in most leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4/WR5
ANALYSIS: Initially when Diontae Johnson was traded from the Panthers to the Ravens, fantasy football managers were excited. The thought of Johnson joining an elite team, powerful offense, and having an elite QB throwing him the ball was very exciting. But his first two weeks in Baltimore have been anything but that -- they have been boring and disappointing for fantasy managers.
Johnson has played in two games so far on the Ravens, and has been very limited with his playing time (22 snaps total). After getting zero targets, zero catches and zero points in Week 9, he followed that up with two targets, one catch and 1.1 points in half-ppr scoring in Week 10. So are things going to change?
Lamar Jackson feels his chemistry with WR Diontae Johnson is already "good" and "pretty solid."
Lamar "definitely" wants to get him more involved, but it'll be a challenge because "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." pic.twitter.com/gKGpH7nnPh

Is Diontae Johnson going to get more playing time, targets, catches and points going forward? Almost definitely. Will he become a reliable fantasy football option again in 2024, and produce consistently? That's tough to say, but it doesn't seem very likely given the robust Ravens offense and large amount of players that Lamar Jackson has as options around him. Lamar, Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers are the featured players, with Mark Andrews and Justice Hill sprinkled in along with Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor and others. That doesn't leave a lot of meat on the bone for Johnson.
Will Johnson ramp up in Week 11 and score more fantasy points? It seems to be trending that way. But are you willing to take the risk that it actually happens, and are you willing to start him this week? I wouldn't recommend that, as the floor is way too low. He needs to prove that he has a real role with real upside on his new team before fantasy managers can trust him again in their lineups.
