ANALYSIS: Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith is coming off a strong Week 1 showing against Green Bay, playing every snap for the Eagles and catching seven of his eight targets for 84 yards. While his upside is capped slightly by him being the clear No. 2 option behind A.J. Brown, Smith might be the best No. 2 in the NFL.
This week, Smith is set to face the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta did well against the pass last week, but a big part of that was because the Steelers had Justin Fields under center, who attempted just 23 passes and had one of the lower aDOTs in the league.
DeVonta Smith has lined up in the slot on 23% of his total snaps in the NFL.
I’d expect that percentage to be significantly higher under new OC Kellen Moore. https://t.co/RJEF3xJ7Cx
In Week 2, Jalen Hurts should be able to do more damage to this secondary. Consider Smith to be a strong WR2 option with upside who can be safely started in all formats because of his high ceiling and high floor.
UPDATE: A.J. Brown has officially been ruled OUT for Week 2

Cleveland Browns running backs Dylan Sampson (hand) and Raheim Sanders will have more opportunities to touch the football in Week 17. Arizona Cardinals running back Michael Carter also stands to benefit workload-wise since […]
The running back position is quite interesting in championship week. Any starting RB as well as a handful of RB2s should be considered for starting lineups. Even the "lower-tier" starting RBs can be quite valuable for fantasy teams. We just saw Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard, who was one of the biggest draft busts […]
