Devin Singletary fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 5 (2024). Should you start or sit Devin Singletary for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4
ANALYSIS: It looks like New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is set to miss the Week 5 game against the Seattle Seahawks, who boast a good defense (when healthy). This is terrible news. New York doesn't have much of an offense without Nabers, and none of its receivers are capable of being a difference-maker.
The Giants have neglected their WR position for years, and the results have been disastrous. They drafted Nabers early in this year's draft, but he's still in concussion protocol, and early reports are that he won't make it out in time for the upcoming game. Nabers has been the engine of the offense this year.

If Nabers doesn't play, we'll see more of what we saw through most of QB Daniel Jones' career. Seattle's defense will have no fear of the Giants' crop of pass-catchers who would all be third or fourth WRs on most teams and will key in on the run. If the Seahawks have most of their defenders back from injury, it could be a bloodbath.
The Dallas Cowboys focused heavily on the run in Week 4 and Singletary scored just 4.8 PPR fantasy points. He averaged 1.71 yards per carry. It was ugly. It will probably be ugly again this week. He's alright as a desperation start or RB3 in deeper leagues, though.
