Devin Singletary fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Devin Singletary for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3
ANALYSIS: New York Giants running Devin Singletary made his debut with the team last week, but he had fewer carries than expected and was also somewhat inefficient. The 27-year-old rushed just 10 times for 37 yards, though he salvaged his performance in PPR leagues with four receptions.
Singletary saw his production scaled back partly due to a negative game script against the Vikings. That could change this week, with the Giants expected to keep the score close against the Washington Commanders.
It would be so Fantasy Football for everyone to remove players like Zamir White, Christian Watson, & Devin Singletary from their lineups today just for them to pop off wouldn’t it…

The Commanders held White to 31 rushing yards on 15 carries last week, but he gashed them in the passing game, catching six passes for an additional 75 yards through the air. Singletary figures to carve out a decent role in the passing game this week, so a top-24 is well within reach, particularly in PPR leagues.
The biggest obstacle for Singletary is the quarterback play of Daniel Jones. He threw two interceptions and took five sacks last week. If the Giants can't stay on the field or consistently find themselves far from the line to gain, they'll have less incentive to run the ball.
New York's offensive line is also a concern. The front office spent resources to rebuild the unit this year, and while it's better than in 2023, they still have major deficiencies in pass and run protection.
Therefore, while Singletary has top-24 upside, we need to temper expectations slightly and view him as more of a top-28 or top-30 option. That puts him firmly in the mix as a startable RB3/FLEX in all leagues with at least 10 teams.

Fact or Fiction: Fantasy Football Outlooks for R.J. Harvey, Kimani Vidal, Troy Franklin, Xavier Hutchinson, Roman Wilson
As you'll see in this week's Fact or Fiction column, it was a good week to face the Dallas Cowboys defense, though it's kind of always a good week to take on Dallas. The Cowboys' defense has allowed the most passing touchdowns in the league and the second-most passing yards. Additionally, the Dallas run defense […]

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard, San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (heel), and Kansas City Chiefs wideout Marquise Brown are all playing football this week. That's more than can be said for a lot of receivers, who might have their bye weeks in Week 8 or be injured and unable to play. While […]

The tight end position is often a wasteland year after year in fantasy. And with six teams on bye this week, it creates an even messier situation for fantasy managers to navigate. Jauan Jennings, DK Metcalf, George Pickens: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 8
The wide receiver position can be volatile at times. A combination of injuries, matchups, changes in week-to-week usage, injuries to other receivers, injuries to quarterbacks, and luck with game scripts can heavily influence their production. In many fantasy leagues, teams on the playoff bubble don't have the luxury of being able to endure low-scoring games […]

Kendrick Bourne, Keon Coleman, Josh Downs: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 8
Some fantasy managers play in deep leagues. Some are in dynasty leagues with massive starting rosters and benches. Some have redraft leagues with three starting wide receiver spots, or three starting flex spots, and the like. Not every league has the standard lineup of two WRs and one flex spot. So players like San Francisco […]
