Dallas Goedert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Dallas Goedert for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-End TE1
ANALYSIS: Dallas Geodert caught four of his five targets for 31 yards in the Week 1 win over the Green Bay Packers. The veteran is subject to plenty of down weeks while playing in a crowded offense, but he could post a spike performance if A.J. Brown (hamstring) can't suit up in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons.

GAIN ACCESSUnfortunately, fantasy managers likely won't know whether Brown will play until just before kickoff on Monday night, but Goedert should be in fantasy lineups regardless, barring a fantasy manager having a loaded group of tight ends. He remains a key piece of the passing game, and Brown could be limited even if he does suit up.
Last week, the Falcons allowed six receptions to tight ends, and in 2023, Atlanta allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position. After one of the worst weeks for tight end production in recent history, the pecking order at the position hasn't changed much. That leaves Goedert as a clear top-12 option in Week 2 fantasy football.
