Welcome to the Wednesday, September 4th edition of Daily Slivers of the Fantasy Soapbox.
Discussing baseball is as fun as the game itself. It has a way of bringing people together to share different opinions about the sport we all love. A similar action can be done with fantasy baseball where we not only discuss topics but also look to improve our teams as well as the teams of our fellow fantasy baseball enthusiasts. Everyone has their own perspectives which are not to be cast off as frivolous. They should be used as a method of expanding our own knowledge.
In this article, I review the previous day's boxscores and provide my opinion on a variety of topics. Some will be random, some will be fun, and some will be stat-driven. It's a soapbox so I may rant from time to time as well. So without any further delay, below are my thoughts on September 4th. Enjoy them. - Someone get a new pet-sitter. Edwin Diaz is killing all these pet-Wins.

- Austin Meadows continues to blow up 2020 value. 5HR, 13RBI, .300AVG last 15 days.
- Ok, maybe Gary Sanchez is worth his draft status. 34 taters. 237AVG. I won’t own him in 2020. Too rich for my blood.
- So, Paul DeJong has mastered the Masse shot. Impressive.
- Edwin Encarnacion keeps up with the young’ns (31).
- You want power from ‘C’ spot, Sanchez. You want SB (w/pop), J.T. Realmuto is your guy 20HR/8SB.
- Scott Kingery might get more love if he had regular PT.
- Juan Soto abuses Jacob deGrom w/443ft crowd-pleaser(32).

- Peter Alonso proud of his 427ft shot of brilliance for 44. Mike Trout demonstrates how 44 should be appreciated w/437-footer.
- Jon Berti snags his ninth bag. Free steals for most.
- Util-only Nelson Cruz still leads baseball w/12.9% Brls/PA. Always drafted lower than value.
- THUN-DAH! Miguel Sano installs a launching pad. 452ft is great distance. 27 blasts.
- Rafael Devers still MLB w/221 hits exceeding 95mph.
