Daily Fantasy Football Picks and Advice - DraftKings Lineups and Sleepers: Week 12 NFL DFS

Welcome to the Week 12 edition of Daily Fantasy Football DraftKings targets. An introduction is not really all that necessary, as the title of this DFS article pretty much sums up what is going to be discussed.

It's important to identify players with good matchups, but we also want to look at their DraftKings prices so we can hopefully find low-cost / high-production players for your lineups.

I will be providing one top DFS play and one DFS value play at each position for Week 12 NFL DraftKings action. Let's get down to it.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks for Week 12

Philip Rivers (at JAX, $6,700)

Philip Rivers has not looked great in two straight performances now, but he should be able to turn things around against the Jacksonville Jaguars. I'm sure he is really missing Keenan Allen, but he should be getting adjusted to his new wide receivers, and Rivers is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. His price tag is not high enough. Prior to his two last games, Rivers has 29.22, 24.6, 31.12, 30.44, and 27.04 fantasy points respectively. There is absolutely no reason to avoid him. The Jaguars are one of the worst pass defenses in the entire league, and Rivers is going to pick them apart. Use him in any format this week.

Kirk Cousins (vs NYG, $5,400)

Kirk Cousins gets a great matchup against the New York Giants this week, and we should be seeing the better version of Cousins. This is a must win game for the Washington Redskins, and I expect that they are going to be throwing the ball quite a bit. In Cousins last four games he's struggled against the New England Patriots and the Carolina Panthers but excelled against the Tampa Bay Bucs and New Orleans Saints. The Giants pass defense is more aligned with the later of that statement. Cousins has the ability to throw for 300 plus yards in a single game and multiple touchdowns. With DeSean Jackson back, the Redskins can finally stretch the field, and Cousins will benefit from that. Do not trust him in 50/50 contests, but he makes for a fantastic tournament play.

DraftKings DFS Running Backs for Week 12

Adrian Peterson (at ATL, $7,300)

Adrian Peterson is still priced lower than Todd Gurley, and it is still confusing to me. He is one of the best running backs in the entire league, and while Gurley is also a great running back, Peterson has proved himself time and time again. He has the ability to score 40 plus fantasy points any time he takes the field. Last week against the Green Bay Packers, he did not look that great, but he only touched the ball 13 times. He can't really help the Minnesota Vikings play-calling. This week should be different as the Vikings will rely on him heavily to win this week's game against the Atlanta Falcons. He should outscore Devonta Freeman, who is questionable anyway, and Todd Gurley also looked bad last game. Peterson is definitely my favorite top play at the running back position this week.

Javorius Allen (at CLE, $4,600)

Justin Forsett, the roller-coaster ride that he was, is out for the remainder of the season. He broke his right arm on Sunday and underwent surgery on Monday. Javorius Allen will take over the running back duties for the Baltimore Ravens, as Lorenzo Taliaferro is also dealing with a foot injury. Last week against the St. Louis Rams, Allen scored 16.5 fantasy points on 22 attempts. The encouraging part of that performance was his 5 receptions out of the backfield. He will easily hit value this week against the Cleveland Browns. Do not avoid him, even in tournaments. It is not a smart move to avoid someone that is almost certain to return value, even if everyone and their mother will have him.

DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers for Week 12

Antonio Brown (at SEA, $8,700)

Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown are one of the best combinations in the NFL. Roethlisberger is playing this week, so Brown should easily score over 30 fantasy points. He has over 40 fantasy points in two straight games now, and against the Oakland Raiders, he scored one point shy of 50 fantasy points and didn't even score a touchdown! Now, that is impressive. He is easily catching double-digit passes, and he is being targeted over 20 times per game. Do not hesitate to use him in tournaments or 50/50 contests, even if his price tag is almost $9,000. Pass up on Julio Jones, as Brown has more upside for a lesser price.

DeSean Jackson (vs NYG, $5,100)

Everyone was quick to write off DeSean Jackson as a terrible wide receiver that should not be used in daily fantasy football. I was not one of those people. This could be due to the fact that I am a Washington Redskins fan (I felt the need to warn you of that bias), but I do not believe that is the sole reason. Jackson is a very elusive wide-out with big play ability. The Washington Redskins are going to throw the ball a lot this week against the rival New York Giants, and the Giants are one of the worst pass defenses in the league. Last week against the Carolina Panthers, who have one of the best defenses in the league, Jackson caught five passes for 87 yards and a touchdown. Use him in tournaments only, but do not neglect to use him at all, especially if you are using Kirk Cousins and Jordan Reed sits out.

DraftKings DFS Tight Ends for Week 12

Rob Gronkowski (at DEN, $7,900)

The New England Patriots get the toughest matchup of their season this week against the Denver Broncos, and the Broncos are notorious for their amazing defense, both pass and rush. Fortunately for Rob Gronkowski, the only position they do not defend well is the tight end position. While I'm sure that they will be providing a little bit of extra coverage on the Patriots top receiving threat, I doubt they will be able to slow him down. He will be a huge part of the Patriots' offense this week; more so than usual. Do not neglect "The Gronk" this week based on a seemingly tough matchup.

Delanie Walker (vs OAK, $5,400)

Delanie Walker is a fantastic option this week against the Oakland Raiders, as the Oakland Raiders are one of the worst defenses in the league against opposing tight ends. Walker has been solid so far this season, and in two of his last four games, he has 30.5 and 21.9 fantasy points respectively. He gets a lot of targets every single week and is by and large the best offensive weapon for the Titans. On the season, he has 53 receptions for over 600 yards and three touchdowns. Two of those touchdowns came three weeks ago against the Saints, so while Walker does not score often enough to be one of the best tight end options in the league, he is scoring enough fantasy points based on receptions and yards to warrant his $5,400 price tag.
