Courtland Sutton fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 6 (2024). Should you start or sit Courtland Sutton for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/WR4
ANALYSIS: It's strange seeing the WR1 of a team having such poor production, but Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is, unfortunately, on a terrible offense. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix is running the show, and he's passed for just three touchdowns on the season while averaging under 200 passing yards per game.
There isn't much work to go around for Denver's receivers, especially considering the running backs take a good chunk of the receiving volume that's spread around. Sutton is mainly a big-bodied contested-catch specialist, which doesn't lend itself to the consistent high target volume. He's already had two games with five or fewer targets.

- Malik Nabers in his own tier
- George Pickens numbers slightly inflated by low pass volume, but still an awesome role
- Big games *should* come for Amari Cooper and Courtland Sutton pic.twitter.com/LbqTfAnWj6— Jake Tribbey (@JakeTribbey) October 1, 2024
He does have a solid grip of the targets and air yards that Nix produces, though, so in time big games could come, but they may require the QB to improve. And the Los Angeles Chargers, who the Broncos face in Week 6, aren't the most likely defense for this to happen against. They're a tough defensive group.
Sutton should be started in deeper leagues and stashed on benches in others. He has a chance of consistent fantasy relevance down the road, but it's unlikely this game.
