The NASCAR Cup Series ran the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas on Sunday afternoon, with William Byron putting on a dominating performance and grabbing his second win in the first six races of this season. Strategy came into play as we expected, and it nearly paid off for Christopher Bell, who finished second on his alternate pitting strategy.
When it came to Green Flag Speed, race winner, William, ranked fastest in that statistic on Sunday. He was followed by Christopher Bell in that statistic with Ty Gibbs, who finished third, coming in at third-fastest.
All of the top-five finishers ended up ranking seventh-fastest or better when it came to Green Flag Speed for this race. The lowest was Alex Bowman, who was seventh in Green Flag Speed but ended up finishing fourth.
