Caleb Williams fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Caleb Williams for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams struggled in his NFL debut and should only be started in deeper formats this weekend.
In his debut, the USC product completed just 14 of his 29 passing attempts for a mere 93 yards and no scores. He did not complete a pass over 20 yards and tallied only 15 yards with his legs.
In addition, his average depth of target was 8.0 yards which placed him towards the middle of the pack among QBs in the first week.
Didn't expect 13 yards to be the Bears' longest pass from Week 1, but it's an impressive one nonetheless from Caleb Williams to DJ Moore pic.twitter.com/L54rOLrru4

Williams could be in for another difficult game on Sunday night against the Houston Texans as two of his top three wideouts have yet to log a practice this week. Veteran Keenan Allen (heel) who saw a hefty 11 targets his way in the opener and rookie Rome Odunze (knee) being in danger of missing this game could greatly affect Williams' fantasy production.
If both wideouts miss Sunday's game, the former No.1 overall pick will only have one reliable wide receiver in DJ Moore.
The 22-year-old should not be dropped in any leagues but should be left on the bench heading into Week 2. Streaming options like Baker Mayfield and Matthew Stafford have favorable matchups and should provide a much safer floor than Williams this weekend.
