Bucky Irving fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 6 (2024). Should you start or sit Bucky Irving for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Despite a rough Week 5 in which he fumbled the ball and failed to crack 50 yards rushing, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving is a fantastic start this week against the New Orleans Saints. There will be multiple factors working in his favor.
Firstly, the coaching staff absolutely loves him. Head Coach Todd Bowles said fumbles are part of the game and that Irving is one of the team's better players, and that he would continue to get opportunities anyway. Additionally, Irving has been highly efficient with his chances, logging 5.6 yards per carry on the season.

Additionally, lead running back Rachaad White (foot) is designated as "doubtful" for Week 6, meaning the pathway is cleared for Irving to take on the starting role. He should get more opportunities this game, and it's likely he'll see a career high in touches.
While the Saints defense he's facing is tough, they've been dealing with injuries on both offense and defense and with their lead QB Derek Carr (oblique) out with an injury, he'll have plenty working in his favor. He's worth a start as an RB2 this week.
