Baker Mayfield fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 6 (2024). Should you start or sit Baker Mayfield for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues/Superflex Formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1/QB2
ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has been a strong QB1 option this year. He has finished as a top-eight fantasy quarterback in four of five weeks and currently ranks as the QB3 heading into Week 6. However, expectations should be tempered for Mayfield against the Saints.
New Orleans has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season and only one passing touchdown. The Saints have also held Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts, Kirk Cousins, and Patrick Mahomes all to under 15 fantasy points through the first five weeks. As a result, Mayfield will come in as more of a QB2 option this weekend.

If you are in a 12-plus team league, Mayfield should be a fine play this week. The Saints have allowed at least 290 pass yards in three straight games. Nonetheless, this isn't the best matchup for the Buccaneers quarterback, so he'll be a riskier QB1 option in Week 6.
