Austin Ekeler fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 6 (2024). Should you start or sit Austin Ekeler for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/Flex
ANALYSIS: Austin Ekeler returned from a concussion in Week 5 and posted a season-best 67 rushing yards in their victory over the Cleveland Browns. In this game, Ekeler saw six carries, his second-highest total of the campaign.
Through the early part of the season, Ekeler has been deployed typically in pass-catching situations as Brian Robinson Jr. has been the lead runner. However, the former Charger caught at least two passes in every game and ran double-digit routes in three of them.

In addition, the 29-year-old has eclipsed double-digit PPR points in all four games he has played in, with a high of 13.5 in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Robinson (knee) has not been able to practice this week and could have an injury designation heading into the weekend, increasing Ekeler's opportunities on Sunday.
Facing the high-powered Baltimore Ravens, the Commanders may need to lean on their passing attack to keep up with them which could open the door for Ekeler to see a heavy dose of targets. If Robinson is unable to play, Ekeler should be viewed as high-upside RB2. If Robinson does suit up, Ekeler reverts back to a solid flex option in PPR leagues.
