BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/Flex
ANALYSIS: Las Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison was deployed as the lead runner last week with Zamir White (groin) held out of the lineup.
In this game, Mattison logged a season-high 15 carries but ran for just 38 yards. He added 23 yards on two receptions. It was great to see Mattison earn that volume after being in the No.2 role through the first four weeks. However, he did not produce well from a fantasy standpoint which could make him hard to trust going forward.
Alexander Mattison goes 31 yards for the @Raiders first TD of 2024!
During the first four weeks, Mattison eclipsed double-digit PPR points on two occasions but also fell under 7.0 PPR points in the other two weeks.
White is set to return to practice on Friday but could remain questionable and may only suit up in a limited capacity on Sunday. This makes Mattison a high-volume flex option as he could serve as the lead runner once again but does not have much upside.
Baller Move: Bench in standard leagues, mid-end FLEX in deeper leagues Positional Value: WR4 Analysis: One of the big mysteries in fantasy football this offseason was how the Miami Dolphins’ offense would look in 2026. Miami signed quarterback Malik Willis to a big contract in free agency, but his pass-catching group was filled with unproven […]
BALLER MOVE: Sit in most leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end RB3 ANALYSIS: So, that was a bit of a surprise. Entering Week 1, there were hints that rookie Kaelon Black was second on San Francisco's running back depth chart, but that wasn't fully confirmed until Jordan James was a healthy scratch. Black not only won the […]
BALLER MOVE: Start in all leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: High-end WR2 ANALYSIS: The Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receiver room was one of the most heavily discussed position groups in the fantasy community this offseason. All three wideouts were ranked closely together because some experts punted on the group and preferred not to mess with it, while others […]
BALLER MOVE: Start in all leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3 ANALYSIS: Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker (ankle) is dealing with an ankle injury he picked up in Week 1. He suffered it in that game, putting up 33.8 PPR fantasy points and easily crushing all other Panthers pass-catchers in productivity. It was a surprising performance. […]
BALLER MOVE: Start in all leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: Borderline WR2 With Upside ANALYSIS: Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams has an abnormally high drop rate, which isn't great for his potential to earn more targets in his offense. That might not matter much, though. The Lions have a matchup with the Buffalo Bills coming up, […]
