BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR48
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce has been one of the biggest fantasy football surprises this season. The former Cincinnati star has never been fantasy-relevant in his career until this year. Yet, he is the WR17 in 2024, averaging 12.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.

Furthermore, the veteran has scored 20 or more fantasy points in as many games as he scored 4.9 or fewer this year (two).
Last week, Pierce had a massive performance on only three targets, totaling three receptions for 134 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 20.9 fantasy points against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy players in deeper leagues can start Pierce in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans, with Michael Pittman Jr. (back) not expected to play. Furthermore, his fantasy appeal improves if Josh Downs misses the game because of a toe injury.
