Aaron Jones fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Aaron Jones for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Former Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones showed us he still had it in his first game with the Vikings. This was readily apparent in the Packers' playoff games last year, but there were a few questions lingering about Jones' explosiveness and durability due to his age.
Jones is 29 years old, which is "up there" for a running back, but Jones looks quite a bit younger when he plays. The question of whether he can stay healthy will remain, but on a game-by-game basis, he's an easy start. He showed impressive burst on his touchdown run.

Jones was also highly efficient and totaled over 100 yards on the day. Averaging over six yards per touch is no small feat, and the score doesn't hurt either. The New York Giants defense he played against hasn't been the greatest for the past few years, but 18.9 PPR fantasy points is excellent for a running back.

You always start Jones if he plays. Very easy decision. He's a solid RB2 and if you have a good enough team to have him in your FLEX spot you should be in great shape. He probably never reaches RB1 status considering the Vikings limit his touches, but he's the best RB the Vikings have had since at least prime Dalvin Cook.
