Defending Houston Open champion Carlos Ortiz has withdrawn from this week's event due to a shoulder injury. Ortiz is coming off a runner-up finish at Mayakoba last week. The Mexican was forced to withdraw from last month's ZOZO Championship with the same left shoulder injury and will likely use the upcoming offseason to address the issue. He'll be replaced in this week's HPE Houston Open field by John Huh.--Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
