DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (11/6/21 Early)

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the main slate on 11/6/21. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win big.

I will start this off by wishing my wife a happy 11th anniversary! She deals with my borderline unhealthy obsession with college football for four months a year. Don't worry.....I'll take her out to a nice dinner.....after we get to this 13-game Saturday monster! We begin with Georgia hosting Missouri. Hugh Freeze heads back to Oxford as the head coach of Liberty. That ought to be fun! Wake heads over to Chapel Hill for a not-so-friendly game. SMU heads to Memphis. Minnesota hosts that pesky Illinois team. We close out the noon kickoffs with Ohio State heading into Lincoln to smack Nebraska (again).

The afternoon starts with Auburn heading to College Station. Navy heads to South Bend this year. We have Cincinnati's schedule getting a bit tougher with Tulsa in town. Oklahoma State heads for the mountains of Morgantown. TCU plays host to Baylor. We close out the afternoon in the Big Ten(14) with Purdue hosting Michigan State and Maryland hosting Penn State. This is going to be another fun one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the early DraftKings slate that locks at noon eastern on 11/6/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Sam Hartman, Wake Forest ($10,000)

Hartman has 98.7 DraftKings points over the last two games. This Wake offense is firing on all cylinders right now and one of those opponents was Army, so it hasn't been a total cakewalk. North Carolina gave up 556 passing yards to Virginia earlier this year, so Hartman may not slow down here either. For cash games, you almost have to use Hartman. He's a very risky fade in GPP formats with the way Wake is playing right now. The Demon Deacons have scored at least 35 points in every game this season!

C.J. Stroud, Ohio State ($8,600)

Nebraska really hasn't allowed a lot of offense, but they also haven't faced a team like Ohio State. It feels like Nebraska, and definitely their fans, are going off the rails after another poor performance by Adrian Martinez in the loss to Purdue. Part of me thinks that Nebraska might show up. Most of me thinks that Stroud is going to tear them apart. He hasn't thrown an interception since Week 3. Stroud has 15 touchdown passes without a turnover in that span. He's low risk with a possible big reward against a reeling Nebraska team that Ohio State has owned of late.

Sean Clifford, Penn State ($6,000)

This feels cheap for Clifford. After all, he racked up 361 passing yards on the Buckeyes. Penn State likely wont have to throw as much in this one, but Maryland's pass defense has been worse than their run defense. We saw Clifford put up nice numbers against a comparable opponent against Indiana before he got hurt in the Iowa game. When it comes down to it, Clifford was having a nice game against Iowa when he got hurt. He finally seems to be back to 100%. There is good potential here at a low price.

Also consider: Sam Howell, North Carolina ($9,800); Adrian Martinez, Nebraska ($7,000); Tai Lavatai, Navy ($5,800); Brandon Peters, Illinois ($4,800)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

Kenneth Walker III, Michigan State ($8,600)

If he can run for five touchdowns and nearly 200 yards on Michigan, I have no issues using him against anyone. Both Wisconsin backs had good games against Purdue. Nebraska doesn't count because they figure out what works, then do the opposite for the rest of the game. Walker is going to get 15-20 carries in this game. That's more than enough to put up some big fantasy numbers for us.

Abram Smith, Baylor ($7,300)

Smith had himself a nice game against Texas. He should against TCU here as well. Baylor is content to run the ball as much as they need to. It's how they wore down Texas. They may even run more in this game since they likely wont be playing catch-up at any point in Fort Worth. Ebner is going to get his share of carries, but Smith reiterated last week that he is now the feature back for the Bears.

Mar'Kiese Irving, Minnesota ($6,200)

Next! Bryce Williams is now added to the list of Minnesota running backs that are out for the season. Irving split carries with Ky Thomas (who is also a nice play for his price) last week, but he got more yards and both touchdowns. I'm through with Illinois "solid defense" bit. It's as hollow as their offense is. Minnesota runs the ball and runs it well. Hey Mr. Fleck, I still have a couple of years of eligibility left and would love to be the next Gophers back to run for triple digits behind that road grader of a line. Irving could put up big numbers at a nice discount here.

James Cook, Georgia ($5,900)

I'm a big Zamir White fan as well, but this is going to be a cakewalk for Georgia. Missouri's rush defense is on the bottom ten of FBS. They are allowing a staggering 283.9 rushing yards per game and have given up 22 rushing touchdowns in eight games. Georgia has legit National Championship aspirations and wont overwork their starters here. I could see the likes of Cook and Kenny McIntosh putting up numbers just as big as White's in this game. McIntosh is the perfect GPP dart based on game script and Missouri's horrendous defense.

Isaac Ruoss, Navy ($4,000)

The Middies don't know how to do anything but run. Ruoss has double-digit carries in all but one game this year. He doesn't put up huge numbers and his touchdowns are usually poached, but double-digit carries against a rush defense that isn't as strong as it looks on the surface can be a game-changer at this price in DFS. If Ruoss gets his customary 70-80 yards and a touchdown at this price, it can move us up the leaderboard in the hurry. The opportunities will be there.

Also consider: Jerome Ford, Cincinnati ($8,300); Leddie Brown, West Virginia ($6,900); Ty Chandler, North Carolina ($6,600); Tre Siggers, SMU ($6,100); Miyan Williams, Ohio State ($4,400); Jaquez Yant, Nebraska ($3,600)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

Josh Downs, North Carolina ($8,700)

It's not an accident that Wake keeps getting caught up in these high-scoring affairs. Their pass defense looks better than it really is because they have faced Army, Duke, and Syracuse in the past three weeks. None of those teams throw well. North Carolina does. When they do, it's usually Downs on the other end. His 70 receptions are nearly half of the team's total! His 979 yards is more than 600 more than second on the team. Downs also has eight of the 20 receiving touchdowns for the Heels. In what promises to be another high-scoring affair, the sky is the limit for Downs.

A.T. Perry, Wake Forest ($7,200)

It's tough to determine what Jaquarii Roberson is going to do, but Perry has been pretty consistent over the last month or so. The ceiling is higher on Roberson, but Perry is likely going to score almost as much or more than Roberson and is $800 cheaper. All of the pieces of this game are a little on the expensive side, so I'll pocket the cash by moving "down" to Perry. Neither is a bad option. Wake just has so many weapons, and Perry has the highest floor of all of them besides Hartman.

Carlos Carriere, Maryland ($5,500)

Taulia finally has a new favorite target. It took a couple of weeks for someone to step into the shoes of Dontay Demus, but Carriere's huge game against Indiana could carry over through the rest of the schedule. This is going to be a tough game against Penn State, but Carriere had five receptions and a touchdown against Ohio State. We'll take a repeat of that for this price. Rakim Jarrett is still worth a look at a depressed price as well.

Bryce Ford-Wheaton, West Virginia ($4,700)

Ford-Wheaton is the only consistent guy in this whole offense with the exception of Leddie Brown. Winston Wright has higher upside, but Oklahoma State isn't going to let Wright get deep. That leaves Ford-Wheaton and his handful of short receptions to give us a nice floor. Considering he scored a pair of touchdowns against a similarly good Iowa State defense last week, there is still plenty of upside to go with the floor.

Casey Kelly, Mississippi ($4,300)

The Ole Miss receivers depth chart looks like a M*A*S*H* unit right now. Jonathan Mingo is doubtful. Dontario Drummond left the Auburn game and his status is unknown. Braylon Sanders missed the Auburn game and no information has been revealed as far as his status this week either. Right now, Kelly and Jahcour Pearson sit atop the depth chart against Liberty. Kelly hauled in seven of his 12 receptions this year against Auburn. If everyone is still out, fire up Kelly. Former QB John Rhys Plumlee is an interesting GPP dart as well depending on how banged up the Ole Miss receivers are.

Also consider: Chris Olave, Ohio State ($6,900); Danny Gray, SMU ($6,200); Demetris Robertson, Auburn ($5,200); Jalen Wydermyer, Texas A&M ($5,000); Antoine Green, North Carolina ($4,300)
