San Francisco Giants second baseman Tommy La Stella (Achilles) was removed from Game 3 of the NLDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to Achilles tightness. Donovan Solano entered the game to take over second base duties from him. According to Giants manager Gabe Kapler, La Stella has been dealing with Achilles tightness for a few weeks now. The 32-year-old started two of the first three games of the series, leading off in both of his starts. He has gone 2-for-5 with two walks and a run scored so far in the NLDS. If he's held out of the starting lineup for Game 4, Solano would likely fill in at second.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
