Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Out Of Thursday's Lineup
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (hand) is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the New York Yankees. According to Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet, he is still experiencing hand soreness and is day-to-day. Gurriel Jr. previously missed three games recently after injuring his hand during a play in the outfield. He's having another productive season at the dish, slashing .280/.323/.474 with 21 HRs, and he has a .923 OPS in the second half. Randal Grichuk will take his place in the outfield and bat ninth. Grichuk doesn't offer much, as he's slashed .245/.285/.429, but he does have 22 HRs over 146 games. He's a decent streaming option for fantasy managers looking for outfield help.
