San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Alex Wood (COVID-19) has been feeling better as of late after testing positive for COVID-19 and hitting the injured list on August 30. According to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle, the hope is that he'll be able to get some baseball activities in over the weekend. Wood's having a solid year for the surprising Giants, posting a 4.08 ERA with 135 K over 125.2 IP and 23 starts. It's unclear who they will use to fill his spot until he makes a return. Fantasy managers should stash Wood and expect him to make a return to the mound this season.--Spencer Seguin
