Jorge Soler Hits His Fifth Home Run On Monday
Jorge Soler went yard for the fifth time this year in Monday's loss to the Los Angeles Angels. The home run was a solo shot and it was Soler's only hit of the day as he went 1-for-3. He also reached base after being hit by a pitch in the ninth inning. Soler had been on an 11-game home run drought before Monday's game. He's really struggled at the plate this year, slashing .177/.266/.320 with 64 strikeouts over 54 games. He can be left on waivers in most leagues, but he's worth adding if he starts to heat up.
